Discover ECSA's 2024 Music Creators Playlist: Celebrating Female Composers

In the frame of World Music Day, ECSA publishes the "Discover ECSA's Music Creators" playlist, which is a collection of compositions and songs coming from the composers represented by ECSA member organisations. The goal of this yearly playlist is to promote European composers and songwriters and raise their visibility to the wider public. The 2024 edition of the playlist follows after previous succesfull editions.

Over the past few years, ECSA has been striving for more gender equality and diversity in the music industry. However, we still see an underrepresentation of female composers and songwriters in music. This year’s “Discover ECSA’s music creators playlist” therefore celebrates the works of our members’ female composers. By putting their music in the spotlight, we hope to foster a more diverse and inclusive landscape for music creators.

This year's collection includes a great variety of different genres, such as contemporary, classical, jazz, pop, film music, soul, and folk. Delve into the playlist and listen to our selection of more than 40 different songs, coming from 17 ECSA member organisations.
