Working Group on Contracts and Collective Bargaining

Contracts constitute the cornerstone of the relationship between authors, rights holders and other stakeholders in the music industry. This Working Group looks into existing contractual practices including coercive market practices and the detrimental impact they have on music authors. By providing guidance on contract negotiations and collective bargaining mechanisms, this Working Group aims to empower European music authors and creators to secure favourable, fair and transparent terms and protect their creative rights.
