Zahra Mani

Zahra Mani is a composer and musician from the UK and Pakistan, based in Austria.  Her work includes compositions for solo instruments, voices and ensembles, radio art, sound installations as well as electro-acoustic and inter-medial performances. She was elected vice-chair of the ECF committee and vice-president of ECSA in 2022. 

As a curator, she is co-director of the Austrian cultural organisation Klanghaus Untergreith and of Mani d.o.o. in Croatia, both dedicated to border-crossing cultural networks. 

As a representative of the Austrian Composers Association, she is actively involved in cultural advocacy on national and European levels, including the Austrian UNESCO working group for Cultural Diversity.
