Press release – ECSA announces new Secretary General

June 21st, Brussels

Dear colleagues,

On behalf of the ECSA board, I am delighted to announce the appointment of Marc du Moulin to the post of Secretary General of ECSA. Marc has started his new role on Monday, the 11th of June 2018, replacing Patrick Ager who held this position until the 13th of April 2018.

Marc has an in-depth understanding of the functioning of the creative industries and an extensive experience in European Affairs. He previously worked for the European Film Agency Directors, the Motion Picture Association, the European Commission (DG CNECT) and for Eurocinema. Marc holds a Masters in UK-EU-US Copyright Law from King’s College London and a Masters in European Studies from the Catholic Institute of Paris. He speaks fluently English, French and Spanish.

We are very happy to welcome Marc as part of the ECSA team and are looking forward to further develop the network under his leadership. I have no doubt that -together with our members across Europe- we will continue strengthening the position of composers and songwriters worldwide and make sure that their voices are heard.

ECSA President
