ECSA President Alfons Karabuda elected Executive Vice President of IMC

Yesterday, ECSA President Alfons Karabuda was elected Executive Vice President of the International Music Council, IMC, during its General Assembly in Rabat, Morocco. Alfons Karabuda has been a member of the executive board since 2013.

– “IMC promotes values ​​well in line with those of ECSA. It is therefore with great enthusiasm and gratitude I continue my work within the IMC executive board as Executive Vice President”, says Alfons Karabuda.

During the ongoing IMC General Assembly in Rabat, the preparation of a digital agenda for music was prioritized and sharing the objectives of ECSA, IMC will participate in the ECSA Creators’ Roundtables in USA next week.

IMC, founded by UNESCO in 1949, is the world’s largest network of music organizations and institutions. IMC comprises over 1 000 organizations with 200 million members in 150 countries, promoting access to music for all and the value of music in the lives of all peoples.
