ECSA at EPP Copyright Hearing

ECSA Secretary General Patrick Ager participated in the EPP hearing on copyright in the European Parliament on 8 June 2017. As speaker on panel IV “User-Generated Content”, Mr. Ager outlined the music authors’ point of view by showing the detrimental effects of an UGC exception on authors’ remuneration and moral rights as well as on cultural diversity. The EPP hearing was hosted by MEP Axel Voss.
